Managing users and roles

You don't need to come to us to give a colleague access: as a customer you invite users to your environment yourself. For each user you choose a role that determines what they can do.

The roles

  • Owner: full access to your environment, including managing the team and the environment itself.

  • Editor: manages the knowledge base and day-to-day team access.

  • Annotator: reviews the inbox and annotations, for example during an optimization round (see Testing and evaluating).

Which role do you give whom?

Keep the number of Owners small: one or two people who are ultimately responsible for the environment. Give Editor to editors who maintain content and documents. Colleagues who only assess answers during a test round only need Annotator.

Someone leaving? An Owner or Editor can revoke their access.
