Now it's yours to run: the new admin environment

Municipalities, healthcare organizations, publishers, safety regions, commercial companies and agencies joined us on 12 August. Jelle and Joris gave a tour of the new admin environment and showed the steps we have taken with vragen.ai over the past year.

And you had plenty to add. Questions came in about privacy and anonymity, about what usage costs and about what an agent can do for a visitor. We also picked up wishes and ideas for what could be better.

Thanks to everyone who was there and joined in so enthusiastically. The questions and responses make vragen.ai better and help us with the choices we make for what comes next.

The home base for your agents

The biggest step we showed during the webinar is the new admin environment. The home base for your agents.

An agent is the AI assistant that answers visitors' questions from your own content. In the new admin environment you decide what an agent does, which knowledge it uses and where you deploy it.

You can manage several agents side by side, each with its own role and its own website or domain. You fill the knowledge base yourself with the sources an agent needs and keep that information current. So you have an overview of your agents and the knowledge they work with in one place.

You see what your audience cares about

The admin environment is also the place where you see what your audience is asking. The analytics have improved considerably, which makes it easier to discover what happens in the conversations with your agents.

Which subjects keep coming back? What are visitors looking for? And on which questions is your current content perhaps not clear enough yet?

Those insights help you look beyond the individual conversations. You see where the needs are and where you can improve your content or your services. So vragen.ai gives you more than answers: you learn from the people asking the questions.

From answer to action

An agent can do more than find information and give a good answer. We are also building agents that can do something for a visitor. Think of booking an appointment or filling in a form.

That makes getting in touch a good deal simpler for a visitor. A question doesn't have to end with a pointer to the next page or the next desk. The agent can help take that next step right away.

Answers from your own knowledge

A general AI model knows a lot, but it doesn't know your organization. Your schemes, your opening hours or the latest version of a guideline, for instance. And it is exactly that information you need to give your visitors an answer they can use.

So an agent in vragen.ai works with your organization's content. You decide which sources an agent uses and can see what an answer was based on.

That keeps you in control of the information your visitors get. For us that is an important part of reliable AI: answers that fit your organization, based on sources you know and manage yourself.

A big step, and we keep building

The new admin environment is a big step for vragen.ai. But we aren't there yet.

AI develops fast and more becomes possible all the time. For us the question is mainly which of those capabilities genuinely make vragen.ai better. We keep building on that, together with the organizations and people who work with it. Where we are heading is in our roadmap: from individual answers to control over whole conversations.
