Widgets for actionable, visual answers
Widgets are compact visual blocks that turn an answer into a next step: from buttons and forms to cards.

What makes widgets powerful is the visual freedom you get. Every widget can be styled entirely through code, so it fits your organization's brand exactly. That way the answer feels smart, and feels like part of your website or portal.
Widgets are available as a beta feature. You can start using them right away.
What can you do with them?
Where vragen.ai already helps by answering a question directly, widgets add another layer. They make the answer less text-driven and more visual. And above all, more focused on the next step.
A contact card helps someone reach the right person straight away. A product card leads to what you offer. A case card offers depth, exactly where the user is showing interest. So answers become more informative and more actionable at once. And that opens the door to a richer, more intuitive user experience.
How does it work?
- Managing widgets in vragen.ai
You can create, view or import widgets for each agent. So you can work quickly with existing cards, or add new ones easily.
- Building your own with the Widget Builder
At widget.chatkit.studio you build your own widgets. That takes some technical knowledge, but gives you maximum freedom in form and content. We at vragen.ai (SWIS) are happy to help you with it.
- Smart use by the agent
The agent decides for itself when a widget is relevant to the answer. You can also steer this through the instructions. So the following appear automatically, for example:
-
a contact card for questions about a colleague
-
a product card when someone shows interest in a service or offer
-
a case card for questions that call for more depth
Beta, and promising
The widget feature is still in development. Among other things we are working on:
-
Clearer instructions for linking widgets
-
A library of reusable cards
That makes it steadily easier to give consistent, visually strong answers.
Why this matters
Widgets make answers richer, more concrete and directly usable. Not only to show information, but to give the conversation direction. You help users click through, get in touch or read on. Exactly at the moment they are ready for it. The answer becomes the starting point for a next step.
This development also prepares us well for what's coming, such as registering your own app inside ChatGPT. Technically we are ready for that now.
