The knowledge base is the foundation of a reliable AI search and answer experience. When it isn't clear what has and hasn't been indexed, errors and inconsistencies in the answers get harder to spot. Making the status of sources visible and surfacing error messages automatically gives you better control, and a more robust knowledge infrastructure.

The knowledge base now shows you how content is indexed and alerts you automatically when something fails. You see the status for every document. So you know right away whether everything was processed correctly, is still queued, or returned an error.

What's new

  • Every document has a status field: processed, queued or processing error.

  • Users with the manager role can have a document reprocessed. Handy when you have updated a page or fixed an error and want that reflected in the knowledge base straight away.

  • When reading or processing a document runs into trouble, a clear message appears in the dashboard.

  • The check on deleted pages is sharper, using a smarter and more efficient way of determining whether a page is gone.

What it gives you

  • More control and transparency over the status of documents.

  • Better monitoring, so you can step in sooner when something goes wrong.

  • Better stability and automatic alerts for errors in the knowledge base.

  • Pages are checked to see whether they are still available.

  • The knowledge base always holds the same knowledge as your website, and won't use deleted pages to answer.
