Vragen.ai is designed for stability and simplicity. However, technical glitches can sometimes occur, for instance, with content processing, connections, or embedded behavior. Below you will find the most common issues and how to quickly resolve them.
๐งฉ 1. Vragen.ai does not load on the website
Possible causes:
Script tag is not properly placed in the
<head>of the pageDomain is (not yet) approved in our backend
Embed ID or link is copied incorrectly
Browser blocks scripts (extensions or security settings)
Solution:
Check if the script tag is inserted correctly
Ask our team to check your domain whitelisting
Test in another browser or incognito window
๐ 2. Pages or PDFs are not indexed correctly
Possible causes:
The URL is not crawlable (e.g., behind a login or loaded via JavaScript)
The PDF is scanned (image, no text)
Page contains too little text or only images
Solution:
Use text-based sources
Manually provide additional files (such as Word or HTML)
Use our upload feature or ask us for direct import
โ Pages are automatically re-crawled if there are changes. Allow 1โ2 hours, or request a manual refresh.
๐ง 3. Answers are incorrect or incomplete
Possible causes:
The question is too vague or ambiguous
The content contains multiple conflicting versions
There is insufficient relevant source information available
Solution:
Rephrase the question more clearly
Add or rewrite content to be better suited for AI understanding
Use the โscopeโ feature to utilize only reliable sources
๐ 4. Changes in content are not immediately visible
Possible causes:
The page has not been re-crawled yet
The embed or link still points to the test environment
Cache in the browser or at server level
Solution:
Request a refresh via the dashboard or our team
Check if you are in the correct (live) environment
Clear your browser cache and reload

Possible causes:
Temporary failure at Vragen.ai or hosting provider
Question is too complex or outside the scope of content
API limit or authentication issue with integration
Solution:
Wait 1โ2 minutes and try again
Check API status (for developers)
Contact us if the problem persists
Tip: use test questions
If unsure about an error, test with a control question you know the answer to in your content. This way, you can rule out whether the problem lies in the content, the model, or the configuration.
